Photo Shoots Coming Up

Dear KE Photographers,

I will be involved in two Official KE Photoshoots:

1) JCRC Photoshoot
2) KEVII Hall Play Publicity Photoshoot

These will be coordinated and directed photoshoots involving portraiture and creative composition and lighting, similarto the one below.

Siva

I will be opening up 2 places per photoshoot, depending on how many photographers I can take on to learn from me. If I have assisting photographers, I will be able to allow more to come and learn.

These will be the pre-requisites:
- have attended training sessions before and/or understand exposure and WB
- have a keen interest in portraiture/theatreworks
- interest to learn about photography in this field.

Projects Dept will update you guys soon.

Training Objectives for Session 1 and 2

Session 1
The camera as a Light Box
Understanding Exposure
Correct exposures vs Over/Under exposure
Exposure is controlled by:
- aperture – which also determines depth of field
- shutter speed - which allows you to freeze action, or show motion; may lead to BLURRING (wanted/unwanted)
- ISO – how sensitive the sensor is to light; increasing it allows shooting faster but increases grain

Session 2
Review of Exposure
Answering of any questions you might have
How to take a photo: Look, Focus, Shoot
Focussing
Metering
